🚀 How to Make Outbound Calls Using Phonely
Hey there! 👋 In this quick tutorial, we’ll walk you through the steps to place outbound calls using Phonely. Let’s dive in! 🏄♂️
1. Accessing the Agent Page
- First, head over to the Agent Page. 🖥️
- Navigate to the Workflows Tab. 📂
2. Selecting Outbound Workflows
- You’ll see two options: Inbound and Outbound.
- Since we’re making outbound calls, click Outbound. ☎️
3. Setting Up a Trigger Condition
- Phonely needs a trigger condition to place an outbound call. 🚦
- You can connect via:
- Zapier 🔗
- Google Sheets 📊
- Webhook 🌐
- In this example, we’re using Google Sheets.
- If you haven’t connected your Google Sheets, click Connect (or Reconnect if already linked). 🔗
4. Syncing Google Sheets Data
- After connecting, choose your spreadsheet (e.g., Test Outbound) and select Sheet 1. 📋
- Phonely will automatically sync the headers and rows (like phone numbers, names, and appointment times). 🔄
- These are dynamic variables and will automatically update with each new row. 💡
5. Building the Call Script
- Next, link the Outbound Call Block with your dynamic variables. 🎯
- Set up voicemail instructions (e.g., “Hey [Name], I was calling about [Reason for Calling], just checking if you can make it to your [Appointment Time]”). 🗣️
- The system will update based on each row's info from Google Sheets. 📊
6. Advanced Features
- You can customize prompts and add instructions for IVR navigation, like getting to a representative. 🧑💻
- Want to get fancy? Try split testing and optimization to enhance agent performance! 🏆
7. Integrating Inbound Workflows
- You can even link outbound and inbound workflows together! For example:
- After an outbound call, transfer to an Appointment Rescheduling workflow. 📞➡️📅
And that’s it! 🎉 You’ve now created an outbound call workflow in Phonely. Explore blocks like the Prompt Block and Multi-Ask Block for even more functionality.
Thanks for tuning in, and happy calling! 📞😊
