Last updated: March 27, 2025
Setup Google Sheet Trigger for your outbound calling with these easy steps
Phonely allows you to make automated outbound calls by automating with Google Sheets. This guide will walk you through setting up Google Sheets Trigger while designing your Agent.
Step 1: Set Up Your Google Sheet
Open Google Sheets and create a new sheet.
Add the necessary columns, such as Phone Number and Question for outbound calls.
Fill in some test data in the rows.
Step 2: Connect Google Sheets to Phonely
Open Phonely and navigate to the Google Sheet Trigger section.
Click on "Connect" to link your Google Drive account.
Select the spreadsheet you want to integrate.
Choose the specific tab where your data is stored.
Click "Sync Fields" to import all rows and columns into Phonely as variables.
Step 3: Configure the Outbound Trigger
Assign the Phone Number column as the outbound trigger (this is the number Phonely will call).
Assign the Question column as the message content for the call.
Step 4: Automate Calls
Add a new row to your Google Sheet with the required details.
Phonely will automatically detect the update and initiate a call using the provided phone number and question.
Test by copying a sample row to verify that the call is triggered successfully.
Now, every time you update the sheet, Phonely will handle the calls automatically! 🚀
